Gaze fixed upon the ball
The installation utilizes digital design and fabrication techniques to present a three-dimensional image using layers of acrylic sheets. The two-dimensional patterns on each layer of acrylic are stacked to form the three-dimensional effect. The outward spreading arrangement is reminiscent of the expansion of the universe from the initial singularity. This also gives the static installation tremendous outward force. The delicate fuzz creates a fluffy feeling. When people look at the installation, the shape that blooms from the center gives viewers a strong visual impact.
